The Derry Cooperative School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, gender, or disability in admission to, access to, or employment in its programs and activities.
Any student, parent on behalf of their child, or employee who believes that s/he has a disability and thinks that accommodations are necessary to afford an equal opportunity for success, should contact the school Section 504 coordinator on 432-1233.
NorthWest Evaluation Association - NWEA [see Assessment]
NWEA tests are tests taken on a computer. The difficulty of the tests is adjusted to the student’s performance so each student sees different test questions. NWEA tests are important to teachers because they keep track of progress and growth in basic skills. The results let teachers know where a student’s strengths are and if help is needed in any specific areas. Teachers use this information to help them guide instruction in the classroom.
